Many More Will Go

A young woman living in London suffers from constant stomach pains and nausea induced by stomach cancer. The film deals with how she is forced to come to terms with her own mortality in a similar way than soldiers are forced to accept the prospect of death.
Bornapart On the surface Bornapart tells the story of a middle-aged artist in the process of losing her hearing. As she tries to adapt to a world where sound is no longer relevant, she starts to identify with the tragedy of Beethoven's life.
Veneer Veneer is a critique of the androcentric perception of women in Western society. Visually, the film refers to a famous painting (Vermeer's The Girl with the Pearl Earring) in order to focus on the idea of "looking" - how women are "looked" at as objects (of art), dehumanised and often driven over the edge.
